Welcome to The Scare Association
With the growth of the scare attraction industry, we have seen a need for a self-governing body or committee that can support all aspects of the industry. As ScareCON is the only event of its kind in Europe, and constantly promotes best practice and knowledge sharing across all events, we are ideally placed, to start this, but we encourage the whole industry to join in.
The initial aim of the Scare Association is to set out a set of commitments that all attractions can sign up to. By agreeing to follow these key commandments, attractions may apply for an accreditation marker (similar to a kite mark) that can be used for promote outside the industry. Going forward we would like to invite scare attraction owners and suppliers to work with us to create a member subscription body with an appropriate governing body, controls and more. In the mean time, we would like to offer one years’ free membership to all events and attractions that have operated more than two attractions in the past. We would hope that most UK events already follow these core beliefs, so will be eligible to signing up immediately. Our Commitments |
